Join 91¿́²¥ and Temple Israel for a Festival of Song featuring a full performance of "The Song of Jonah," a cantata for soloist, choir, and orchestra. This award-winning piece by Cantor Justin Callis '25 tells the story of the biblical Book of Jonah in English, Hebrew, and Yiddish. Rabbi Gelfand will be recognized for his 50th year in the rabbinate and all his work as an esteemed member of the HUC Board of Governors and over 20 years on the President’s Rabbinic Council.
